Sr. Manager, Product Management (#RK-0810) Brand: Shutterfly Location: Remote, Reporting to San Jose, CA, United States Full-Time
Job Description:
Collaborate with business leadership to understand the company’s product vision, and manage roadmap for the company’s shopping platform including prioritization, metrics, and operations for customer-facing requirements.
Responsible for the overall product and project roadmaps and project management tasks, including sprint planning, capacity planning, daily status updates, removing blockers, and general problem resolution across internal engineering and external development partners.
Gather business and user requirements and success key performance indicators (KPIs) to build stories for engineering, balancing between internal and external resources based on business need.
Work with the engineering team and develop and manage a well-groomed backlog.
Develop an understanding of the company’s customer base and category competitors to develop the product roadmap.
Identify product features and enhancements to grow the business or create operational efficiencies in line with overall business strategy.
Identify opportunities to integrate AI into the business to grow the business and improve customer experience.
Develop an AI roadmap for the future.
Anticipate and resolve resource gaps, obstacles, and timing issues.
Ensure cross-functional use of the company’s resources.
Build out A/B testing plans and measure key projects to improve development efforts, product strategy, and roadmap planning.
Manage a team of product managers to deliver on the roadmap.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of progressive experience in product management, product systems consulting, or product analysis.
Work experience to include: (1) 5 years of experience in the full lifecycle software development process with web application development. (2) 5 years of experience gathering and documenting business and use requirements and communicating them to engineering teams. (3) 3 years of experience with Agile development methodologies. (4) Analyzing and modeling business processes, including E2E, eCommerce funnels, or platform consolidations, and translating business process information system support needs into product requirements for engineering teams to develop against. (5) Working in e-commerce industry and utilizing e-commerce promotional tooling capabilities and payment processors, including Braintree and WorldPay. (6) Utilizing System Development Life Cycles, including Waterfall, Agile, and Safe. (7) Utilizing web analytics, A/B testing set up and summary, data analytics, and insights as part of feature-decision making. (8) Managing a team of product managers.
Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
Position requires 5% domestic travel; travel expenses paid by employer.
40 hours/week.
Salary: $244,129 to $249,129 per year.
Address of employment: This is a 100% telecommute position. Candidates must reside in a state in which Shutterfly is registered to do business. This includes all U.S. states except District of Columbia, North Dakota, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming.
