As a Working Student Project Engineer you support the team in the technical planning and execution of our AutoStore projects by assisting in developing detail layouts (AutoCAD, pCon, Revit…), specifications and interfaces. In addition, you will support in clarifying technical and safety-related topics and contributes to the development of new ideas, tools and templates.
You will be in touch with relevant stakeholders such as installers, suppliers, customers and internal departments, and supports Project and Sales Managers in technical and safety-related questions (e.g. CE-/EG-conformity).
Your tasks
- Supporting in creating drawings
- Supporting in the creation of offer documents in the sales phase and specifications in the realization phase
- Supporting the integration and detail engineering of special equipment and trades
- Assisting in inquiries, obtaining and comparing offers (in-house and external trades)
- Assisting in CE-related tasks such as safety concepts and risk assessments
- Supporting optimization of processes, templates and overall project approach
Your profile
- Ongoing technical studies in mechanical engineering or a similar field
- Excellent German and English skills
- Analytical thinking and basic drawing skills (CAD)
- First practical experience (e.g. internships) in engineering, project environment or intralogistics is a plus
- Basic understanding of engineering, automation and interest in logistics and IT processes
