With more than 33,000 ingredients, chemicals, and materials assessed, HowGood’s SaaS and impact data offerings help leading brands, retailers, and investors improve their environmental and social impact.
We are seeking an experienced, independent SaaS Business Development Contractor to drive the market adoption of Latis, our sustainability intelligence platform. The selected contractor will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new enterprise clients across Europe.
The contractor will operate with autonomy to achieve the following commercial objectives:
Pipeline Generation & Sourcing: Independently research, prospect, and generate high-quality enterprise leads within the CPG, retail, ingredient supplier, and food service sectors.
Client Acquisition: Conduct professional presentations and high-level consultations to prospects, effectively conveying how the Latis platform delivers value (sales lift, carbon emission reduction, and ESG goal improvements).
Revenue Generation: Drive the end-to-end sales cycle to close $100k+ SaaS agreements, meeting agreed-upon commercial milestones.
Market Intelligence: Identify European market trends and relay high-level client feedback to help inform HowGood’s product roadmap.
We are looking for:
SaaS Sales Expertise: A proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B SaaS sales, with a demonstrated history of independently closing $100k+ enterprise deals.
Industry Networks: Recent experience navigating and pitching to CPG, retail, ingredient suppliers, or food service clients.
Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of (or professional background in) agriculture, sustainability, Scope 3 reporting/Carbon Accounting, supply systems, biodiversity, or ESG goals.
Communication Skills: Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills, critical for navigating cold outreach and enterprise procurement.
Type: Independent Contractor (1099 or European equivalent / B2B Freelance Contract).
Location: Remote (Must be autonomous and legally based in Europe).
