  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative support role, preferably in the insurance industry and supporting Sales teams
  • Strong analytical and research skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM/databases (Salesforce preferred)

Job description

Reporting to the Sales Administration Manager, this position will provide advanced professional input that supports the North American Sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides analytical and administrative support to Sales representative in preparing and submission of new sale quotes;

  • Interact with underwriting on such matters as package quotations, and regular group benefit quotations;

  • Assists in the creation and development of sales proposals and client specific sales presentation materials;

  • Coordinate implementation process with matrix partners (internals / external) to improve client net promoter score;

  • Responsible to coordinate with Sales representative on prospect/broker inquiries, problem solving, and ensuring client intent is captured;

  • Preparing and sending application and supporting documents to clients;

  • Coordinating with operational departments on new business installations;

  • Maintain CRM system, salesforce.com, for new business and growth on existing business;

  • Preparing standard and customized reporting using salesforce.com;

  • Provides ad hoc analyses and operational tasks to understand data: utilizing enterprise tools, best practices and quality standards related to sales;

  • Acts as liaison to other teams to gain information, problem solve and execute various tasks;

  • Participates in project work for market as directed by Sales Administration Manager.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher is strongly preferred, preferably in business or business administration;

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative support role, preferably in the insurance industry and supporting Sales teams;

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to work independently and work on numerous projects at one time;

  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure while anticipating the needs of Sales;

  • Understanding of group insurance business strongly desired;

  • Self-directed with a high level of personal accountability and responsibility;

  • Strong analytical and research skills with a high attention to detail;

  • Excellent time management skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer is required;

  • Knowledge of CRM/databases (salesforce.com) is strongly preferred;

  • Strong communication skills (written & oral), in addition to, excellent typing skills and proofreading skills.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 63,600 - 106,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
