POSITION TITLE:  Send Network Administrative Assistant

REPORTS TO: Send Network VP of Regions

LOCATION: Remote

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-exempt, Part Time

JOB SUMMARY

This position will support NAMB’s ministry objectives in sharing Christ, starting churches, and sending missionaries and volunteers by providing administrative support and assistance to the Send Network VP of Regions.

MINISTERIAL QUALIFICATIONS

All staff positions are considered ministerial in nature due to the purpose and mission of the North American Mission Board. 
 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide high-level administrative support for the Send Network VP of Regions and field leaders.
  • Manages scheduling for the Send Network VP of Regions.
  • Organize and supports meetings, trainings, and special events to include reserving space, preparation of materials, and coordination of logistics.
  • Completes budgeting and/or financial tasks including Workday expenses, reimbursements, and budget tracking.
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for director and non-employees upon request.
  • Conducts basic research to support the needs of Send Network VP of Regions.
  • Responds to basic requests for information and routine questions.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by the Send Network VP of Regions. 

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or two or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with grammar and professional business writing abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and track schedules effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and Outlook preferred.
