Overview:

We’re looking for a high‑energy, growth‑oriented Business Development Representative who thrives at the front lines of revenue generation. In this role, you’ll be a strategic engine for pipeline creation—initiating high‑value conversations, accelerating early‑stage opportunities, and expanding our presence across key markets and verticals. You’ll partner closely with sales leadership to fuel predictable growth and elevate our go‑to‑market motion through world‑class sales‑enablement practices.

Responsibilities:

Pipeline Generation & Strategic Outreach

  • Drive highquality pipeline by executing targeted, personalized outreach to multilevel stakeholders within priority prospect and customer accounts.
  • Consistently exceed monthly qualified appointment goals, forecasted deal targets, and annual revenue contributions.  
  • Leverage datadriven insights to prioritize accounts, refine messaging, and optimize outbound performance.

 

Sales Enablement & CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Partner directly with Major Account Executives and PreSales Engineers to qualify, nurture, and advance opportunities—improving conversion rates and accelerating sales cycles.
  • Participate in weekly account planning to align on strategy, messaging, and outbound sequencing.  
  • Become a subjectmatter expert on HireRight’s solutions, value propositions, and competitive differentiators to deliver compelling, consultative conversations.

 

 Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Maintain highquality, accurate CRM documentation in Salesforce to support forecasting, reporting, and territory planning.
  • Utilize salesenablement tools to execute multichannel outreach (phone, email, social) with consistency and precision.
  • Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and contribute to scalable demandgeneration initiatives.
  • Engage in quarterly regional sales meetings to share insights, review performance, and align on business priorities.
Qualifications:

Qualifications

Education

  • BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 

Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years of Business Development or MidMarket field sales experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence across multiple levels.  
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets in a fastpaced, metricsdriven environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with tools such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and modern salesenablement platforms.
  • A competitive mindset, positive attitude, and relentless drive to win.
