About the Role
Weβre looking for an analytically strong, execution-focused Business Analyst to power commercial decision-making for a new digital telco in the MENA region. Sitting within the Commercial team, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution; the successful candidate will support in translating data into helping the business make faster, smarter decisions across pricing, acquisition, and monetization.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with technical fluency in data; someone who can break down complex problems, uncover trends, and deliver recommendations that move the needle.
What You Will Be Doing
Performance optimization
Track and analyze core commercial KPIs to uncover insights and improvement opportunities
Investigate acquisition, pricing, and usage funnels to identify friction points and surface quick wins
Deliver actionable recommendations to Commercial, Product, and Marketing teams based on data
Reporting & decision-making support
Own weekly and monthly commercial reporting to leadership, with crisp narratives and clear takeaways
Serve as the go-to analyst for ad hoc data requests, campaign deep-dives, and tracking setup
Pricing & growth strategy
Support pricing and bundling strategies with commercial modelling and scenario planning
Run break-even and sensitivity analyses to guide trade-off decisions and optimize margin
Support the Head of Commercial and Finance in aligning forecasts and business planning
Business execution support
Support on go-to-market execution, offer testing, and launch readiness
Integrate measurement frameworks into product and campaign initiatives to accelerate learning cycles
Bring a data-first approach to commercial conversations and cross-functional collaboration
Ideal Candidate Profile
3+ years in business analytics, commercial strategy, or growth roles in B2C digital consumer businesses (e.g., telco, fintech, e-commerce)
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel; working knowledge of Looker, Tableau, or Power BI strongly preferred
Clear understanding of telco economics and KPIs, with the ability to connect insights to action
Strong communicator who can simplify complex data and influence cross-functional teams
Experience in the MENA region or emerging digital markets is a strong advantage
