DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Investigate, evaluate and negotiate complex automobile claims including non-injury, serious injury claims, fatality losses, UMBI exposures, and out of state losses.
Determine proper policy coverages, investigate, evaluate, negotiate and equitably settle all assigned casualty claims in accordance with company guidelines and best claims practices.
Establish and authorize reserve and claim payments and monitor reserves through the life of the file.
The employee will be expected to handle numerous claims and to maintain a healthy diary system.
Settlement negotiations with claimants, policy holders, and other parties are crucial to the position.
Ability to multitask and address unexpected situations while showing the flexibility to do so.
Maintain high standards of professional conduct while delivering superior customer service.
The employee may assist other key Claims units in times of
