Role Overview:


The Area Sales Manager role partners closely with Regional Sales Managers to drive new

business, support upsell opportunities, and ensure consistent execution across multiple territories.

This role is critical in supporting field sales efforts, improving pipeline velocity, and enhancing

customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities:


• Support Regional Sales Managers across 7+ territories

• Assist in prospecting and generating new business opportunities

• Help drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives within existing accounts

• Coordinate and participate in ride-alongs with Regional Sales Managers

• Manage follow-ups, scheduling, and pipeline activities

• Collaborate with Sales, Deployment, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams

• Maintain CRM accuracy and track key sales activities


Requirements


• 5+ years of experience in sales or sales support

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities across regions

• Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

• Automotive or SaaS experience is a plus

• The Area Sales Manager consistently hits or exceeds pipeline and revenue targets

• Increased pipeline velocity through strong follow-up, scheduling, and deal progression

• Measurable contribution to new logo acquisition and upsell revenue

• Seamless coordination across Sales, Deployment, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams

• High CRM accuracy and visibility into territory performance

• Positive feedback from field reps on ride-along value and deal support
