A bit about this role:
 

At Devoted, The Member Experience and Engagement (MXE) team, is responsible for designing a service experience that makes members trust and love Devoted. The team also stands up and coordinates Elder Councils as part of their community engagement initiatives. 

As the Member Mobilization and Engagement Associate, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and creating  connections with the Elder Council members. The mission of our member mobilization effort should be the same as that of Devoted overall: to dramatically improve the health and well-being of older Americans by caring for each and every person like family. You’ll also assist with the Member Advisory Committees, member research and surveys as needed. You’ll work closely with the Member Mobilization Senior Associate and  the Senior Manager of Member Experience and Engagement, supported by other MXE teammates, COSs, Community Guides, Marketing, and others. 

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Build, maintain, and motivate strong relationships with Elder Council members, Community Based Organizations, and internal stakeholders at all levels.

  • Conduct community research and develop partnerships to support councils' annual activity plans.

  • Support Member Advisory Committee recruitment, reminders, and meeting minutes (4x/year).

  • Maintain accurate records, budget oversight, and consistent operating procedures (SOPs); and deliver projects according to precise SOPs, timelines, and checklists for engagement communications, looking for efficiencies and opportunities.

  • Travel to Elder Council markets to support entry and development.

  • Maintain and update the Elder Council webpage regularly.

  • Work cross-functionally with data, member services, and product/technology teams to build, test, launch, and measure member campaigns and surveys.

  • Own and execute member feedback and research campaigns.

  • Ensure all communications and campaign implementation follow compliance guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Required skills and experience: 

  • Project management skills - ability to take detailed notes, track and follow up with action items while communicating progress

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills 

  • Some experience using data and analytics tools to make decisions

  • Adept at learning new tools and systems 

  • Ability to simplify and articulate complex information

  • Comfort working in a dynamic startup environment

  • Detail oriented and highly organized

Desired skills and experience: 

  • Experience as a project manager 

  • Proven track record of relationship building and productive partnerships with Community Based Organizations 

  • Ability to draft Policies and Standard Operating  Procedures

  • Ability to collect, interpret and communicate qualitative data into recommendations 

  • Experience sending, monitoring and evaluating campaigns and surveys
     

Salary: $58,000 - $82,000 / year

The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
