At Chatterboxes, we believe connection starts with listening differently, to both the children we support and the clinicians who care for them.
We are a provider-owned team of 26 Speech-Language Pathologists serving schools and home-based clients across the Northeast. Our work is grounded in the belief that every child already has a voice; our role is to help create the conditions for that voice to be heard, understood, and valued.
Just as importantly, we believe meaningful clinical work begins with clinicians who feel supported themselves. We’ve intentionally built a culture that prioritizes connection, sustainability, growth, and psychological safety in a field that too often overlooks them. Our goal is not simply to staff positions, but to create an environment where SLPs can build long-term, fulfilling careers while continuing to grow both clinically and personally.
Around here, we call that #SaveTheSLPs, and it shapes everything we do
We're looking for a builder. Someone who is energized by helping a growing organization run like a well-oiled machine, not just in theory, but in the day-to-day reality of how things actually work.
This isn't coaching from the sidelines. It's for someone who finds real satisfaction in implementation: solving complex organizational puzzles, taking ideas, energy, and vision, and thoughtfully turning them into systems, rhythms, and beautifully designed experiences that people can feel.
You'll sit at the center of everything: people operations, culture, marketing coordination, and leadership development. And at the heart of it all, you'll be the steady presence of a remote team, bringing our forward-thinking ideas and vision to life in a way that feels clear, steady, and supportive.
What matters most here is your ability to follow through by serving our team with empathy and care. To take moving pieces and gently bring them into alignment. To create structure without rigidity, and momentum without overwhelm.
This is a role for someone who loves building and finds meaning in bringing things into practice; and in doing so, helping to create an environment where our team can feel the psychological safety to truly perform their best work.
People Operations & HR
You’ll help shape and strengthen the clinician experience at Chatterboxes by supporting the systems, processes, and day-to-day operational rhythms that help our team feel connected, supported, and positioned for long-term growth.
This role will partner closely with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, team development, and organizational processes that contribute to a thoughtful and people-centered employee experience. You’ll help bring consistency, structure, and follow-through to key operational and team initiatives while continuously improving how we support clinicians across the organization.
Marketing Coordination
You’ll help coordinate and operationalize many of our outreach and visibility efforts, ensuring ideas, partnerships, and initiatives move forward in a thoughtful and organized way.
Working collaboratively with internal and external partners, you’ll support recruiting-related marketing efforts, community relationship-building initiatives, and projects that strengthen our long-term growth and presence within the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting moving pieces, improving workflows, and helping mission-driven ideas become reality.
Leadership Training & Development
You’ll support the ongoing growth and consistency of our leadership team by helping coordinate leadership development initiatives, communication systems, and organizational follow-through across the company.
This role will help reinforce alignment, accountability, and clarity throughout leadership operations while supporting a culture rooted in professionalism, empathy, collaboration, and growth.
SLP Cultural Ecosystem
You’ll help cultivate a strong sense of connection and community across our remote team by coordinating initiatives that support engagement, belonging, and team culture.
This role will help ensure our values are reflected not only in what we say, but in how our team experiences day-to-day life within the organization.
Integration & Systems
You’ll serve as a key operational connector across leadership, systems, and workflows, helping ensure communication, priorities, and projects stay organized and moving forward.
This role is focused on creating clarity, strengthening operational consistency, and helping transform growing infrastructure into sustainable, scalable systems that support both the team and the organization as a whole.
Requirements
Who You Are
You’re likely in the mid-stage of your career, with several years of experience helping organizations operate more smoothly, thoughtfully, and efficiently. You enjoy building systems, improving processes, coordinating moving pieces, and bringing ideas to life through strong execution and follow-through.
You’re someone who likes being close to the work. While you can confidently manage projects and coordinate across teams, you’re not looking for a role that is purely strategic or meeting-heavy. You enjoy creating structure, solving problems, and seeing the direct impact of your work on people and operations.
You naturally think in systems and patterns. You notice inefficiencies, anticipate needs, and enjoy bringing clarity and organization to fast-moving environments. You communicate with warmth, professionalism, and emotional intelligence, and you know how to support people while still helping projects and conversations move forward productively.
You’re highly dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple domains including operations, recruiting, team support, marketing coordination, and project management. You thrive in collaborative remote environments and enjoy helping teams feel connected, aligned, and supported.
You’re also curious about technology and excited by the potential of AI and automation tools to improve workflows, communication, and operational efficiency.
