The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, full-cycle salesperson who can generate leads, run outbound campaigns, develop new opportunities, give product demos, manage sales conversations, and close new customers.
This is not a maintenance account management role. This role is focused exclusively on acquiring new customers and expanding into new markets. In this role you will own the full revenue cycle — from outbound prospecting to signed contract. The ideal candidate will be comfortable both selling and helping build the process around selling, and is comfortable prospecting into new markets.

Responsibilities:
Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
Identify target accounts and decision-makers in target markets
Create and execute LinkedIn campaigns, email campaigns, and other outbound prospecting efforts
Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, use cases, budget, timing, and buying process
Deliver product demos that clearly connect SimplyAnalytics to the prospect’s research, planning, reporting, or data needs
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
Work with ownership to refine messaging, positioning, target segments, and sales materials
Track all activity, opportunities, and follow-up in the CRM
Help establish a repeatable sales process for new vertical markets
Represent SimplyAnalytics professionally with prospects, customers, partners, and industry contacts
Required:
5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, run discovery calls, deliver demos, and close new business
Experience with outbound sales, email campaigns, LinkedIn prospecting, and lead generation
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to understand customer research questions and translate them into product value
Comfortable working independently in a small-company environment
Organized, persistent, and comfortable managing a pipeline
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Strong follow-through and attention to detail
Bonus:
Experience selling annual software licenses
Experience selling analytics or data visualization applications
Experience building a sales pipeline, not just working inside an existing one
Experience selling to healthcare organizations, nonprofits, municipal governments, or research-oriented organizations
Compensation:
Base salary: CA$110,000–CA$130,000, depending on experience
On-target earnings: Approximately CA$180,000–CA$210,000
Commission: Paid on new customer revenue
Accelerators: Increased commission rates for exceeding quota
