This designer will partner closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes that meet customer needs, are feasible within our technical environment, and serve organizational goals. The role spans user research, information architecture, interaction design, content strategy, and service design, with a willingness to leverage AI powered tools to accelerate and enhance the design process. We value designers who learn quickly, iterate often, and continuously seek better ways to solve problems. • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, emphasizing the importance of a user-centric approach.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, including advancements in AI-assisted design, actively seeking opportunities to enhance design processes and methodologies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including senior project managers, product owners, business analysts, and developers, ensuring alignment between design objectives and project goals.
  • Use AI powered design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Make, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate ideation, content generation, and design exploration.
  • Apply vibe coding techniques to rapidly build functional prototypes and proof of concept interfaces using AI-assisted code generation, enabling faster validation of design concepts with real interactions.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tools into the UX workflow, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency in research synthesis, design iteration, and handoff processes.
  • Apply healthcare and health insurance domain knowledge to design experiences that account for regulatory requirements, accessibility standards, and the needs of diverse user populations, including consumers, brokers, and assisters.
Requirements
  • Colorado resident.
  • Education and/or training in Product Psychology, Human Interaction Computing, or Product Design preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a related regulated industry, with a strong understanding of enrollment workflows, eligibility systems, and consumer-facing health platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, user research, or product design.
  • Proficiency in UX design prototyping software and user testing tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for data and improving customer experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of our system and highly sensitive information.
