Founded in Berlin, autarc is a ~40 person start-up who were part of Y Combinator’s S24 batch in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with the Engineering & Product department currently ~20 people, as we continue to grow throughout the year.
Role description
We're looking for an experienced Recruiter to come and join us either on a short-mid term freelance basis or for something that could be full-time and permanent.
autarc is in a period of serious growth right now. With a headquarters in Berlin and office in London, we're expanding into areas that include France, Italy, Spain and Poland whilst also looking to enter into new continents. With that comes the demand to sell. Therefore we need to grow our Sales team by 2-3x by the end of the year.
This Recruiter needs to know what they're doing and be able to hit the ground running, with no hand holding. Given the specific focus on growing our Sales team, we need someone who knows what a good SDR looks like versus a bad one. Do you know the right companies to hire from? How can you trust someone's KPI successes?
Responsibilities will look like the following:
Own the entire hiring cycle end-to-end
Keep our ATS tidy and under control due to high volumes of applicants
Understand what's happening in the market and headhunt the best people
Work alongside leadership and the Sales team in improving hiring efficiencies
Be closing from the very beginning in ensuring a high conversion rate
Remain a high level of personality - pick up the phone and speak to people
Absorb the culture and learn to know what we look for in a person
Requirements
3+ years of experience working as a Recruiter
An understanding of how an ATS works, preferably Personio
Clear ability to own things end-to-end
Knowledge of the Sales world and track record of hiring these people at scale
In-house, TA experience for a fast-paced, high growth scale-up
A preference for someone Berlin-based
Also a preference for someone German speaking (or multi-lingual with French, Spanish, Italian, Polish etc.)
Either a direct freelance arrangement or German-based contract
