Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of industry experience, or high school diploma with 9+ years of client management/TPA or insurance experience with client-facing responsibilities
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Experience interacting with senior-level executives; results-oriented with excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills; understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans; ERISA/COBRA/HIPAA/ACA knowledge; preferred state insurance license

Requirements:

  • Build and maintain consultative and strategic partnerships with assigned book of business through the entire client life cycle, including implementation, problem resolution, upsell, and renewal activities
  • Work with sales executives during finalist presentations and may present to potential clients
  • Support and service between 12–20 clients; maintain senior management-level contact with client stakeholders and brokers
  • Retain and grow the assigned book of business; participate in internal projects benefiting the client management organization

Job Summary

Success will be determined by the ability to retain and grow revenue for the assigned book of business and exceed client expectations surrounding service excellence. Being a champion for your clients, your ability to influence others to deliver results for your clients will also be a key factor in your success. Understanding of the self-insured TPA environment is beneficial. We believe keeping up to date on market trends will enable you to position Luminare Health programs and solutions efficiently to client decision makers.

• Responsible for building and maintaining consultative and strategic partnerships with assigned book of business through the entire client life cycle, starting at implementation and continuing through everyday problem resolution, upsell, and renewal activities.

• Works directly with sales executives during finalist presentations and may be asked to present to potential clients.

• Expected to support and service between 12 – 20 clients.

• Maintains senior management-level contact with client stakeholders and the broker.

• Internal project participation that benefits and supports the client and/or the client management organization.

• Charged with retaining and growing their assigned book of business.

This is a Telecommute (Remote) role. Remote employees must live within the continental United States, excluding  Alaska, New York, or Hawaii. Sponsorship is not available

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 Years industry experience OR High School diploma and 9 years previous Client Management experience and/or experience in a similar TPA or insurance environment with client-facing/client support responsibilities 

  • Ability to travel is required (up to 25%)   

  • Ability to interact with senior level executives 

  • Results oriented and self-motivated

  • Excellent presentation skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required, as are exceptional organizational skills 

  •  Understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans; stop loss understanding a plus; Knowledge and understanding of benefit-related federal laws (i.e., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.)  

  • Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills are required 

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • State insurance license

  • Proven experience partnering with hospitals and health systems

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Min to Max Range:

$67,600.00 - $127,000.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
