Job description

Job Title: Patient Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing assistance with scheduling, inquiries, and follow-up care.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal timing and effective communication with healthcare providers.
  • Gather and verify patients' medical history and insurance information, updating records as necessary.
  • Address patient concerns and facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff.
  • Assist patients with navigating insurance requirements and education related to their care plans.
  • Ensure that all patient information is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • <li>Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout all patient interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
