Job Summary:

Supervises a team of virtual behavioral Health Coaches across the organization by providing operational and clinical oversight.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provides supervisory, operational and clinical oversight to a team of behavioral health coaches. 
• Responsible for group and individual training for new hire onboarding, professional development on coaching and motivational interviewing, and other skills needed for successful coaching. 
• Reviews recorded calls and patient charts to ensure quality coaching and documentation. Follows up on opportunities for improvement.   
• Partners with leadership and team members to identify areas of improvement, develops change plans and implements plans. 
• Maintains and updates workflows and training materials. 
• Assumes manager and/or director tasks in the absence of the manager or director. 
• Provides input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff. 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

EDUCATION

• Master's degree or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

• Two years’ experience in a Health, Wellness or Lifestyle Coaching

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
• Occasional driving.
• Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
