Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or advanced education/certification a plus
  • 12+ years of experience in specialty pharma/biopharma with field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical roles including people management in Rare Neurology or similar biologic/specialty/REMS markets
  • Demonstrated leadership and talent development capabilities (coaching, building high-performing teams, developing future leaders)
  • Willing and able to travel 50-80% (travel to congresses, meetings, programs)

Requirements:

  • Lead the culture, structure, and strategic direction of Regeneron’s Rare Neurology Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) Team, and build a high-performing, compliant organization
  • Coach, mentor, and assess performance; set objectives; develop future leaders and ensure a strong talent pipeline
  • Provide strategic customer insights to the Marketing Leadership team; collaborate with cross-functional/matrix partners to develop and refine brand plans and ensure alignment with brand strategy; manage budget and TLL operations
  • Foster collaboration across alliances, drive innovation, and adapt the TLL scope to evolving brand needs while maintaining compliance and peak performance

Job description

The Director, Thought Leader Liaison Lead for Rare Neurology is a non-sales position for someone passionate about leading a team of Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs) across the nation. The Director will work closely with U.S Thought Leaders in Rare Neurology. We are seeking an individual who will be a key member of the Rare Neurology marketing leadership team and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall brand strategy and tactical execution. The TLL Director will report to the Executive Director of Rare Neurology Marketing.

A typical day may include the following:

  • Guide and define the culture, structure, and strategic direction of Regeneron’s Rare Neurology TLL Team

  • Build a high performing team, capable of generating quality insights with Thought Leaders

  • Create a compliant environment which challenges, motivates and develops team members to reach optimum performance and potential

  • Set clear objectives, coach/ mentor, and assess performance and skill-level to develop future leaders within Regeneron

  • Provide strategic customer insights to the Marketing Leadership team to assist in the further development of the Rare Neurology brand strategy

  • Work collaboratively with multiple matrix partners in developing and refining business plans to achieve brand objectives

  • Manage budget and TLL operations to ensure the TLL team is appropriately resourced

  • Champion and lead the TLL team in a compliant manner

  • Build and cultivate collaboration within alliance

To be considered, you must have a Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree or other advanced education/certification a plus. We also seek Specialty pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 12 years of work experience in one or more of the following: field sales, product marketing, or medical/ clinical experience including people management experience in Rare Neurology or a similar biologic/specialty/REMS market. Lastly we expect you to have the ability to travel to congresses, meetings, programs, etc. (50-80% travel).

Salary Range (annually)

$183,100.00 - $305,200.00
