About the role

The Business Development Manager supports the company’s growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening key partnerships, and expanding market presence. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills who can drive revenue growth while supporting the company’s overall vision and objectives.

What you'll do

  • Assess the current dealer network and support the implementation of training and development initiatives to improve dealer performance, drive growth, and help expand market reach.
  •  Assist in developing and executing business development strategies that support long-term revenue growth.
  •  Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, new customer segments, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and industry partners to support continued business growth.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive activity, and new areas for potential expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—such as sales, marketing, operations, and product development—to support alignment of business goals and customer needs.
  • Support and collaborate with sales team members to help achieve performance targets and business development goals.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports on business development activities, pipeline progress, and growth opportunities for leadership.
  • Assist in negotiating and closing contracts and agreements that support company objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and build strategic relationships.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

·         7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

·         Proven track record of driving revenue growth and successfully executing business strategies.

·         Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.

·         Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

·         Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·         Experience in Dairy or Agriculture preferred.
