The Senior Learning Design Professional analyzes needs, organizes content, designs solutions, and writes facilitator guides, storyboards, scripts, performance support resources, mobile learning solutions and manuals.
Conduct need analysis with clients to determine whether learning solutions are necessary and proposes right-fit solutions.
Analyze knowledge and skill needs and partners with subject matter experts to gather input for course content.
Write learning objectives and coordinate performance assessments to measure training effectiveness.
Plan, organize, and develop training curriculum, materials, job performance aids and programs to meet specific training needs.
Develop multi-modal learning material, including instructor-led and self-paced training.
Familiar with using learning system platforms and collaborative tools to deliver and support learning.
Provide instruction and guidance to Learning Facilitators.
Ensure course materials are current and relevant to training needs.
Track and analyze the training programs effectiveness by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement.
Creates and maintains project documentation to drive to completion.
Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to facilitating training with markets.
Provides guidance and mentorship to junior learning and development associates.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience in learning and development.
Five (5) or more years of professional learning and development experience.
Proficiency in Articulate 360 Suite.
Prior demonstrated capability leading projects and creating a high performing team culture.
Progressive business and analytics experience with a focus on learning strategies and adult learning theories.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in one of the following areas: Business Administration; Learning and Performance; Education; Human Resources, Organizational Design or Related field.
Prior work experience in a health care or insurance setting.
Additional Information
Workstyle: This is a remote position.
Travel: This role may require up to 5% of travel for onsite meetings, which could include locations outside your state of residence.
Typical Workdays and Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), with some flexibility to accommodate other time zones. We will discuss specific scheduling options during the interview process.
