Job description

Solutions is looking for a Field Services Technician to join their growing company team.

The Installation Technician will represent Pro-Vision and provide an industry leading level of quality installation and servicing of our products. The technician will at all times convey the most professional level of onsite customer service by providing expert installation and friendly customer interaction. The Installer will work to learn all company systems and standards to enable Pro-Vision to maintain a continued commitment to being the industry leader for product innovation, quality, and service. 

 

Standards, Responsibilities and Duties for this Position: 

 

Team player with a positive, professional and proactive attitude 

Follow all safety protocols for installation and service work 

Follow all Pro-Vision systems and standards to complete product installations or service work according to procedures 

Apply a methodical approach to work 

Work independently or with team to maintain competitive installation and service costs for customers 

Comply with all procedures and provide documented feedback of all deviations 

Maintain clean and organized service vehicle including maintaining sufficient levels of inventory 

Utilize safe and defensive driving habits to maintain a clean driving record 

 

 

Qualifications and Work Requirements for this Position: 

Must have valid driver’s license and ability to legally drive in all states 

Must meet all legal requirements to work at customer locations 

Must meet all TSA requirements to allow travel by air as needed 

Must possess verifiable experience in mobile electronics installations 

Must be able to semi-continuously alternate from sitting to standing at will with ability to climb steps/ladders, crouch and kneel as needed to complete all installation tasks 

Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and 35 lbs. overhead 

Must be able to fit in and under semi-confined spaces, both in and under vehicles, to complete installation process 

Ability to learn and follow company processes and procedures in order to achieve a 95% accuracy of target completion times for assigned tasks 

Provide all required documentation for work performed and as required by company  

Ensure all installations and service performed to work orders 

Ensure any required deviations are approved before being performed 

Maintain professional onsite appearance and provide professional customer communication 

Possess a smartphone in order to send and receive instructions with company 

Must take and pass required MECP course within first 26 weeks 

Must be able to effectively utilize all company technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, Paycom, etc., in order to carry out assignments 

Must follow and adhere to all policies and procedures found in Pro-Vision Employee Handbook and other company policies 

Additional requirements and duties as assigned within the company's best interest 

The Level 1 technician should be capable of working independently within 90 days of hire date
