Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related PEO health insurance/employee benefits sales role
  • HS Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred
  • Active Life and Health license required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Prospect, contact, develop relationships and market to new agents/brokers to encourage them to place their PEO and related business with CRC Benefits
  • Work with agents/brokers to develop revenue growth strategies focused on increased sales activity, more products per customer, and expanded understanding of CRC Benefits' services
  • Utilize internal systems (Salesforce, Teams, etc.) for activity tracking and metrics; provide just-in-time sales expertise to maximize results
  • Coordinate with partner carrier resources as needed to maximize results and adhere to confidentiality standards

Be the overarching relation with employee benefits brokers/agencies while continuously growing broker headcount by effectively presenting our PEO value proposition. Benefits Sales Executives stablish new broker relationships in existing and new markets by effectively presenting our National PEO solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect, contact, develop relationships and market to new agents/brokers to encourage them to place their PEO and other business with us.
  • Work with agents/brokers to develop revenue growth strategies focused on increased sales activity, increased products per customer, and expanded understanding of CRC Benefits' specialized services.
  • Utilize internal systems (Salesforce, Teams, etc.) for activity tracking and metrics.
  • Effectively market to agents/brokers, encouraging them to let CRC Benefits assist with their PEO business.
  • Provide “just in time” sales expertise to maximize results.
  • Develop strategies with targeted agencies to drive technology adoption to assure the elimination of manual processes and adherence to safe, secure electronic transfer of data.
  • Coordinate with partner carrier resources as needed to maximize results.
  • Adhere to the CRC Benefits confidentiality standards of information.
  • Occasional long, irregular hours during peak times.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related PEO health insurance/employee benefits sales role.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Active Life & Health License is required.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • In-depth knowledge of PEO and group insurance products preferably attained through working in a PEO insurance marketing or selling role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange; proficient in web browsers, specifically Google Chrome.
