Freelance Editors - Native English Speakers in Brazil | Remote

THE ROLE

We are seeking skilled editors, who live in Brazil, to edit synopses for one of the world’s largest streaming platforms. Ideal candidates are native English speakers with an advanced level of Brazilian Portuguese, deep knowledge of Brazilian culture, and professional experience in the streaming and entertainment industry. You’ll watch parts of shows/movies in Brazilian Portuguese and edit synopses for them in English. These synopses are written by human copywriters, not AI. In addition, you’ll implement feedback following multiple rounds of review. This is a pilot project that will likely turn into regular, consistent work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Native English speaker

• High level of Brazilian Portuguese

• Live in Brazil

• 2 years of professional editing experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Can provide a portfolio or samples of your work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience writing synopses of shows or movies.

• Comfortable working on JIRA, an asset management tool.

Standalone Film: $35 USD

Series-level: $30 USD

Episodes: $10 USD
