As the company expands into new formats and platforms, they are building scalable AI-assisted production pipelines that combine cinematic storytelling with emerging creative technologies to bring stories to life through animation and modern video workflows.

The AI Filmmaker Team Lead will lead the creation of AI-assisted cinematic video content while helping scale modern production workflows across multiple projects and shows. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, filmmaking, animation, and emerging AI-powered creative technologies.
In the early stages, the AI Filmmaker Team Lead will operate as an individual contributor, owning the production process from prompting and AI generation through editing and final assembly. Over time, this role will evolve into a leadership position overseeing AI “generators,” managing production workflows, and ensuring consistent creative quality across multiple outputs.
The ideal candidate is a filmmaker first, someone with strong cinematic storytelling instincts who understands scenes, pacing, shot composition, camera movement, lens choices, and emotional continuity, while also being highly proficient with AI-assisted creative workflows.
Generate video content using platforms such as Runway ML, Sora, Higgsfield, Kling, and similar AI generation tools.
Translate narrative scripts into visual outputs through structured prompting and AI-assisted workflows.
Experiment with multiple models and tools to achieve animated, photorealistic, stylized, and other visual formats.
Apply a director’s mindset to script interpretation and visual storytelling.
Break scenes into structured cinematic shots including wide, medium, close-up, sequencing, and transitions.
Ensure strong narrative pacing, emotional continuity, and visual cohesion throughout productions.
Combine AI-generated clips into cohesive long-form content.
Edit and refine outputs for pacing, consistency, story clarity, and production quality.
Manage post-production workflows from rough assembly through final polished delivery.
Utilize editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Avid, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Operate within proprietary production systems that integrate multiple generation models and creative tools.
Identify the most effective models and workflows for different production styles and storytelling needs.
Optimize workflows for scalability, efficiency, and creative consistency.
Initially own production output independently as an individual contributor.
Transition into a Team Lead role managing AI “generators” focused on asset and scene generation.
Oversee content creation across multiple projects and productions.
Train and guide team members on prompting techniques, workflow systems, and production quality standards.
Maintain ownership of narrative consistency and final creative output across projects.
Proven experience in cinematic narrative filmmaking, editing, or directing story-driven content.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted video generation tools and workflows.
Experience translating scripts into visual outputs through prompting and creative direction.
Strong editing and post-production experience using Final Cut Pro, Avid, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
Strong understanding of the full post-production process.
Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to social media content, advertising, or non-narrative formats will not be a fit for this role.
Strong prompting, visual interpretation, and creative direction skills for AI-assisted video generation.
Ability to combine cinematic filmmaking instincts with emerging creative technologies.
Strong video editing and post-production capabilities.
