Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MCA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of IT experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite (11i/R12) Apps consultant.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, INV, OM) and development of RICE components using SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle Forms 10g, Report Builder 10g, XML Publisher/Discoverer, and OAF/JDeveloper.
  • Strong knowledge of AIM methodology; ability to prepare technical designs and functional specifications; excellent communication and client interaction skills.

Requirements:

  • Provide technical leadership, gather requirements from users/onshore team, and resolve production support tickets with quick turnaround.
  • Design and customize Oracle Forms using 10g or JDeveloper; develop reports using Report Builder 10g, XML Publisher and Discoverer; customize workflows across GL, AP, AR, PO, INV, OM, and FA.
  • Develop RICE components with SQL/PL-SQL, create custom utilities, interfaces, conversions and extensions; migrate legacy data using SQL*Loader/UTL_FILE; prepare AIM-based technical design documents (MD-70) and functional specs (MD-50).
  • Assist in setup activities like GL chart of accounts and books, coordinate with onshore teams, and ensure delivery under deadlines with high quality and customer service.

Job description

Seeking for an Apps Technical Consultant with skills on Implementation and technical expertise in Oracle Applications R12(12.1.x , 12.2.x), across the Discrete and Financials Modules such as General Ledger (GL), Payables (AP), Receivables (AR), Manufacturing Modules, Purchasing Order (PO), Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM).

Roles will include :

• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to identify problems and implement corrective solutions. Resolve Production Support tickets with a quick turnover time. Actively interact with users in gathering requirements for development with onshore team and Users.
• Design and customize custom Forms using Oracle Forms 10g or JDeveloper to develop reports and customize standard Oracle reports using Report Builder 10g, Discoverer and BI/XML Publisher
• Use Oracle API's across the customization of the Procure to pay process. Create custom utility packages in PL/SQL. Development of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, customization of Workflow in Purchasing, Receivables, Payables, General Ledger and fixed Assets
• Prepare Technical Design Documents for customizations and conversions using AIM documentation methodology. Design Technical specs in MD 70 and Design Functional specs in MD 50 using Standards AIM.

Job Qualifications
Education: B.E in Computer science / M.C.A or equivalent

Experience:
  • Minimum 5+ years of IT experience in software applications/development on Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 as Oracle APPS Consultant,
  • Good experience in study/audit of existing business process and preparation issue logs, collection of functional/technical requirements, client/user interaction, GAP Analysis, technical data mapping analysis and design of technical/functional data process flow charts.
  • Hands on experience in development and extension RICE components using SQL and PL/SQL, Customization of forms using CUSTOM.pll, reports using Report builder 10g, XML/BI Publisher Oracle Discoverer and OAF using J Developer 9i/10g.
  • Good functional knowledge in O2C and P2P cycles, GL, INV, CRM Foundation,
  • Have At least 2 full cycle end-to-end implementation and one support project(s) experience.
  • Rich experience in registration/migration of Forms, Reports, OAF UI pages, PLSQL programs, Oracle Discoverer and XML Publisher Reports, Good at sysadmin and AOL activities including creation of KFFs, DFFs, users, responsibilities, menus, concurrent programs, request sets, request groups, value sets.
  • Good at development of interface and conversion programs using PLSQL and Oracle Standard APIs. Migration of legacy data to oracle using SQL*Loader and UTL_FILE utilities
  • Knowledge of underlying table structure of oracle applications modules for development of enhanced functionalities. Implementation experience using AIM Methodology
  • Setup of GL chart of accounts and set of books. Setup of master items using item templates.

  • Web Technologies: HTML, XML
  • Utilities: IE 5.0/5.5, Netscape 4.7/6.0, Mozilla, Putty, WinSCP
  • Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: Good communication skills and positive attitude
  • Preferred to Have Oracle Certifications on Developer track. Good hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Application.
  • Knowledge On Oracle Financial Functional Related setups.
  • Ability to produce accurate work under pressure with frequent deadlines
  • Strong communication skills for gaining understanding, support and compliance from both executive and junior audiences. Strong collaboration skills
  • Technical acumen to convert plans into real solutions
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to provide a superior level of customer service to employees and colleagues
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized with the ability to prioritize independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency
