Job description

We are looking for a Developer Relations Manager to drive strategic partnerships with developer communities, strategic partners, and ISVs with a focus on NVIDIA BioNeMo for generative AI in drug discovery. At NVIDIA Healthcare, we build SDKs to enable entire industries to embrace AI and accelerated computing in ways that directly impact human health, speeding the development of life-saving medicines. NVIDIA BioNeMo and related accelerated computing technologies address a critical gap in the development and deployment of generative AI for the life science ecosystem.

In this global role, you will be the principal subject matter expert representing our drug discovery frameworks and services in the life sciences ecosystem. You will build a deep understanding of established and emerging use cases for these technologies, and use this knowledge to drive engagement strategy. This is a high-profile role as a leader at the intersection of therapeutic discovery and AI, evangelizing the adoption of NVIDIA's drug discovery technologies, building a robust ecosystem and community around the BioNeMo platform, and driving high-value strategic partnerships. Your deep subject matter expertise together and ecosystem knowledge will be instrumental in developing technical, product, and go-to-market strategy for NVIDIA drug discovery, working closely with each team to ensure we deliver critical technologies to this fast-paced and rapidly developing field.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead strategic relationships with key opinion leaders in the application of AI to early drug discovery and development, building a network of influences and early adopters.

  • Understand the constantly evolving landscape of drug discovery AI, tracking engagements globally.

  • Evangelize BioNeMo and generative AI for drug discovery on NVIDIA across the ecosystem.

  • Develop a community of adopters and developers of NVIDIA BioNeMo, participating in strategic events across the globe. Host developer and customer evangelism events including meetups, hackathons, and lectures.

  • Speak at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences.

  • Discover high-impact problems NVIDIA can uniquely tackle to build new markets in biopharma.

  • Drive early adoption of new products and support launch and go-to-market activities.

  • Collect and synthesize market feedback and product requirements, and assist in driving technical and product strategy.

What We Need To See:

  • Masters, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in chemistry, biophysics, computational biology, or closely related life-sciences domain expertise.

  • 8 or more years of experience in scientific computing and machine learning for life sciences.

  • 4 or more years of experience working directly with developers or managing strategic partnerships in the life sciences

  • Excellent understanding of the key methodologies of computational drug discovery.

  • Proven experience working with modern machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI as applied to problems in healthcare and biopharma.

  • Hands-on experience in scientific computing and/or high-performance computing.

  • Outstanding communication track record, demonstrating your ability to communicate and explain complex topics to diverse audiences.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

  • Experience developing data science, deep learning, and generative AI approaches in drug discovery.

  • Background in software development and distributed computing. Bonus points for GPU and CUDA programming experience!

  • Driven to positively impact healthcare through the use of new technologies.

  • Driven to build new markets by building productive meaningful relationships across this ecosystem.
