The customer is a global contract research organization (CRO) that provides clinical trial management and drug development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. They handle the full spectrum of clinical research, from study design and patient recruitment to data management and regulatory submissions, helping companies bring new therapies to market faster and more efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI to effectively visualize complex data sets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data visualization needs.
- Design and implement data models and transformations to support robust reporting requirements.
- Utilize advanced features of Power BI to create dynamic and interactive visualizations.
- Optimize report performance and data refresh processes to ensure efficient delivery of insights.
- Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for data visualization and report design.
- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data visualization tools and techniques.

Skills:
- Proficiency in developing interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI (5 years+ of experience with Power BI is required). 
- Strong collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders in gathering requirements and understanding data visualization needs.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models and transformations for reporting purposes.
- Advanced skills in utilizing Power BI features to create dynamic and interactive visualizations.
- Ability to optimize report performance and data refresh processes for efficient insight delivery.
- Expertise in data visualization and report design best practices.
- Experience working with data in Snowflake and Azure Data Lake for visualization purposes is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance to achieve objectives.
- Strong communication skills to provide guidance and share best practices in data visualization.
- Experience in CRO, clinical trials, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry is a big plus.
- Upper-intermediate English skills or above (English is the primary language of communication in the company).
