We’re growing rapidly across Australia and New Zealand, and we’re looking for a Consulting Director who brings both strategic vision and human-centred leadership. Someone who can connect the dots between business needs, technology, and people—and who thrives in collaborative, purpose-driven environments. 

We’re seeking a dynamic Consulting Director to support the Head of Consulting Australia in growing the market and enhancing Datacom’s position as a strong consulting-led technology partner. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong consulting background, commercial acumen, and a passion for storming and forming, shaping opportunities and framing up to work with high-performing cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead complex client engagements across strategy, transformation, and technology domains.

· Shape and drive presales activities, including solutioning, proposal development, and client presentations.

· Partner with sales and delivery teams to develop compelling value propositions and win strategies.

· Build and scale consulting capability aligned to market demand and emerging trends.

· Support the Head of Consulting Australia in executing growth strategies, identifying new opportunities, and expanding client relationships.

· Champion Datacom’s consulting-led approach to technology, reinforcing our market presence and client value.

· Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience in consulting leadership, with a track record of delivering high-impact outcomes.

· Strong presales capability, including experience in shaping deals, influencing stakeholders, and driving early-stage client engagement.

· A growth mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and scale offerings.

· Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

· 10yrs plus experience working across the Australian market is highly desirable.
