Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience with hands-on expertise in .NET, C#, Java, OpenShift, CI/CD tools and automation, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience working on complex enterprise application projects with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Preferred: experience in banking/financial services environments; Agile development experience; ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives; strong organizational and leadership capabilities; proficient English communication.

CTG is seeking an experienced Software Engineer II to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-level applications and systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in .NET, C#, Java, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, and MS SQL Server who thrives in a collaborative Agile environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

 

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and application development skills, experience working across cross-functional teams, and the ability to lead technical efforts on medium to large-scale initiatives.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 7 months

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications and integrations.
  • Perform systems analysis, debugging, and root cause resolution for complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, QA, and business teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and testing plans.
  • Lead or coordinate technical tasks for small to large-scale development projects.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards are met.
  • Recommend process improvements, technology enhancements, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and support project delivery efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • .NET

    • OpenShift
    • CI/CD tools and automation

  • Experience working on complex enterprise application projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within banking or financial services environments.
  • Understanding of enterprise application frameworks and integrated systems.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46.64 to $77.74. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
