To be considered for this internship, it is mandatory to be currently coursing an academic degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, or Specialization) in Business Management or a related field, ideally in your last 1-2 years of studies. Please submit your CV in English.

Agilent is looking for a Business Data Analyst Intern to join the European Strategic Enablement Team supporting the translation of commercial and operational data into actionable insights to drive growth and execution across Pharma, Clinical, and Applied Materials end markets by using and applying emerging AI‑enabled capabilities. This role is part of a large European team working across multiple countries and departments, partnering with Sales Leaders, Product/Marketing, and Operations to define strategic business questions, build decision-ready analytics, and automate business scorecard reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business problems into analytical approaches (hypothesis, metrics, drivers, segmentation) and deliver insight that informs priorities and actions.
  • Build and maintain PowerBI-based models and KPI frameworks to deliver actionable insights.
  • Create standardized reporting packs and executive-ready narratives around key strategic initiatives: what happened, why, what to do next, and expected impact. 
  • Consolidate disparate data sources into governed datasets; drive a “single source of truth” for critical metrics.
  • Support cross-functional European projects with ad-hoc analyses, opportunity sizing, and operational performance tracking.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of internal processes related to analytics delivery.
     

Qualifications

  • Strong Excel capability.
  • Business-minded analytical thinking: identifies drivers, trade-offs, and practical actions from data.
  • Strong attention to detail; able to operate in an international, multi-stakeholder environment. 
  • Currently studying Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar fields.

Internship Details
Location: Barcelona (Spain) full time or hybrid (3 day office / 2 day’s remote)

Duration: 12 months
Workload: Full-time
Start date: Starting from June
