Requirements:

  • Develop and execute marketing activations and campaigns to drive partnership revenue growth, including joint campaigns, events, webinars, and success stories; manage end-to-end activation lifecycle, budgets, and vendor negotiations; light travel up to 5-10%.
  • Build scalable partner enablement programs, collaborate with Partner Marketing and Sales Enablement to ensure consistent programming, and support partners through the activation journey; represent the partner voice in planning.
  • Track, analyze, and report performance of partner marketing activations (lead generation, engagement, ROI, and partner growth) and present insights to leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Relationship Management to align partner activation initiatives with business objectives and go-to-market priorities.

Summary of This Role
 

The Partner Activation Manager is responsible for managing and executing marketing programs and partner events to include full event lifecycle, budget management, vendor negotiation, strategic planning, and performance reporting. This role plays a critical part in driving engagement, enablement, and growth with Financial Institution partners.

As a key member of the Partner Marketing team, this individual will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing leads, Sales, and Relationship Management to deliver integrated marketing programs that support partner activation and align with Global Payments’ mission to enable partner success.

The ideal candidate is a detail-focused, strategic thinker with strong B2B marketing expertise and a deep understanding of the financial services and payments landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Activation & Execution

  • Develop and execute marketing activations and campaigns to support partnership revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align partner marketing initiatives with business objectives and go-to-market priorities.
  • Build and manage marketing programs that drive awareness, education, and engagement with partners.
  • Logistical experience with a high volume of national events.
  • Lead co-marketing efforts, including joint campaigns, events, webinars, and success stories that highlight partner achievements.
  • Light travel may be required, up to 5-10% of the year.
     

Partner Engagement & Enablement

  • Build scalable programs that enhance partner collaboration, trust, and loyalty.
  • Partner with Partner Marketing and Sales Enablement to ensure consistent and effective programming across the partner activation experience.
  • Support partners through the activation journey and enable full participation through seamless planning and program structure.
  • Represent the partner voice within Global Payments, ensuring their feedback informs planning and program design.
     

Measurement & Insights

  • Track and report performance of partner marketing activations, including lead generation, engagement, ROI, and partner growth.
  • Use insights from partner feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends to refine strategies.
  • Present results and recommendations to leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Core Competencies

  • Partner Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in partner, channel, or B2B marketing, ideally in payments, banking, or fintech.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Skilled at working cross-functionally with marketing leads, field sales, clients, and relationship teams.
  • Program Management: Ability to own end-to-end programs, from strategy through execution and measurement.
  • Content & Communication: Excellent communication skills to support clear project management.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical mindset with experience analyzing program performance and making data-informed decisions to optimize marketing performance.
  • Tools: Familiarity with Wrike, Microsoft 365, to include PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, CoPilot.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in partner marketing, program management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, partner ecosystems, and relationship management. Payments or financial industry experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

$105,000 - $115,000


The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
