Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of experience in relational database administration and management
  • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including distributed/cluster configurations (master-master, master-slave)
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server or similar RDBMS
  • Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, security policies, and automation using scripts and specialized tools

  • Backup/restore management and security policy enforcement including access control and protection of sensitive data

Profesional con más de 3 años de experiencia en administración y gestión de bases de datos, con sólidos conocimientos en PostgreSQL, además de experiencia en Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server o similares.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseño, implementación y mantenimiento de bases de datos relacionales.

  • Optimización de rendimiento (tuning) y resolución de incidencias.

  • Migraciones y actualizaciones de versiones.

  • Gestión de copias de seguridad, restauraciones y políticas de seguridad.

  • Administración de accesos y protección de datos sensibles.

  • Automatización mediante scripts y herramientas especializadas.

  • Gestión de BBDD distribuidas, replicación y sincronización entre instancias.

Tecnologías requeridas

PostgreSQL

  • PostgreSQL distribuido / clúster: maestro-maestro, maestro-esclavo.

  • Herramientas: Slony, Bucardo, Pgcluster, Pgbouncer, Percona, Partman, pgwatch2.

  • Extensiones: vacuum, pg_repack, pg_cron, pg_audit, tuning, partitioning/sharding, entre otras.

Oracle

  • Versiones: 10g, 11g R1/R2, 12c, 19c

  • ASM, RMAN (Backup & Recovery)

  • Real Application Cluster (RAC)

  • DataGuard (Active/Inactive)

  • Real Application Testing

  • GoldenGate y herramientas similares

  • Diagnostic & Tuning, Partitioning, Advanced Compression
