  • Serve as a planning partner to Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, and other cross-functional partners to ensure forecasts are supportable, aligned, clearly communicated, and translated into executive-ready insights for AOP and leadership reviews

Summary of Role:

This role is responsible for leading customer-level sales and trade planning activities in support of CMG/Salty/Protein business. This role owns the end-to-end forecasting process within PlanEx, including monthly snapshot leadership, risks & opportunities (R&O) management, eBUF coordination, promotional planning accuracy, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, and other partners. The role serves as a key player in delivering Annual Plan. As a manager, this will lead a team of analysts.

 

 

 

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end customer forecasting within PlanEx, including full-year outlook, monthly gaiting, and item-level forecasts across baseline, promotion, seasonal, innovation, and merchandising volume for CMG/Salty/Protein.
  • Lead monthly snapshot execution, ensuring timely pre-snapshot alignment, accurate inputs, and post-snapshot reconciliation and communication.
  • Ensure forecasts reflect the most current latest estimate by incorporating retail trends, order history, customer commitments, and late-breaking changes.
  • Translate customer strategies and sales inputs into accurate, actionable forecasts that support enterprise targets and financial commitments.
  • Coordinate with Sales to maintain customer Risks & Opportunities (R&O), including identification, quantification, probability weighting, and ongoing validation.
  • Lead eBUF planning and execution across seasonal, innovation, merchandising, and everyday programs, ensuring PlanEx accuracy and alignment to EBUF deadlines.
  • Serve as a planning partner to Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, and other cross functional partners to ensure forecasts are supportable, aligned, and clearly communicated.
  • Translate detailed forecast data into clear, executive-ready insights to support decision-making during AOP, Monthly Customer Reviews, and other leadership reviews as needed.
