Estia Health is seeking an experienced Residential Aged Care Manager with a strong clinical background, who can a make a major difference in the lives of our residents by leading our aged care home towards operational excellence!

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, and as the 'head of' the home, you’ll lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and creating a warm, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. This is a rewarding leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact—driving quality care, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the smooth operation of our home.

The Locum Residential Aged Care Manager is responsible for supporting facilities thought-out a designated region at the direction of Regional Manager and supporting the Residential Aged Care Manager responsible for the standards and provision of nursing care and continuous service provided to residents. This role works across different locations depending on business needs, often covering periods of leave or providing additional support to particular homes in our network. 

In this role you will:

  • Find the best way forward for our residents and people

  • Run a tight ship - maintaining efficiency and operational safety

  • Keep the lights on and making sure revenue targets are met

  • Inspire your team to perform and grow

  • Build ties with the community to everyone’s benefit

You’ll be a strong business leader with commercial acumen and a generous style of management. You’ll also have:

  • A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives

  • Spent at least five years in a management role

  • A background in aged or medical care

  • Worked with a number of different systems
