  • Provide tiered support to resolve complex IT issues escalated from the helpdesk
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems and services to meet or exceed SLAs
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery

We are searching for a IT Operations Senior Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our global systems at Axxess. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing the site’s technology environment to support business operations efficiently and securely. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills to provide leadership to the team, collaborate with various stakeholders, and align our IT services with Axxess’ goals.

What you will do… 

  • Partner on all aspects Axxess’ global IT, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
  • Provide tiered support to resolve complex IT issues escalated from the helpdesk.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems and services to meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Partner on cost effective procurement of global IT hardware, software, and services. 
  • Partner to develop and manage the site’s IT budget, monitoring expenditure and optimizing costs.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Partner to develop and execute site-specific IT strategies and plans aligned with the organization’s overall IT and business objectives.

What you will bring… 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with significant exposure to infrastructure and systems administration required.
  • Experience in planning and managing IT projects.
  • Thorough understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Proficiency in managing server and storage environments (Windows/Linux servers, SAN/NAS).
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with enterprise applications and system integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft MCP/MCSE, or VMware VCP are advantageous.
  • Ability to work from our Dallas office as this is not a remote role.
