Requirements:

  • Lead the transition from Monday.com to Salesforce in partnership with IT and Data & Analytics teams; ensure data accuracy and integrity, manage user access, and implement new features; develop the Salesforce integration to support ongoing operations and collaboration
  • Process optimization: streamline processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity; assist Oregon team with transitions from other process management software (e.g., Monday.com, SmartSheet, Salesforce)
  • Data analysis: analyze recycling, education outreach, and contamination data related to EPR implementation to identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic development; assist in creating and updating spreadsheets, databases, and tracking systems
  • Technology implementation and AI capability development: evaluate and implement tools to improve team performance; lead ongoing creation and improvement of AI-enabled capabilities (automation, drafting/summarization, data QA workflows, knowledge management, reporting) including requirements, rollout, training, and iteration based on user feedback; engage with IT and PMO to reflect Oregon's needs in SP Portal and grow data tracking and automation capabilities

Role Overview

The Specialist – Technical Systems supports operational excellence by leading CRM administration and migration work, improving workflows through process optimization, and expanding team productivity through technology implementations (including AI-enabled capabilities). The role partners closely with IT, Data & Analytics, and other stakeholders to ensure systems, data, and tools enable effective collaboration and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM Management:Leadtransition from Monday.com to Salesforce in partnership with the IT and Data and Analytics teams. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CRM system, managing user access, and implementing new features. Develop the integration intoSalesForceto ensureteamcan effectively manage ongoing operations and collaboration.
  • Process Optimization:Streamline processes,identifyingbottlenecksand implementing improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Assist Oregon team with transitions from other software services such as process management workflow software. (Example, Monday.com, Smart Sheet, Salesforce)
  • Data Analysis: Analyzerecycling, education & outreach, and contamination data related to EPR implementation toidentifytrends, andprovide insights to support decision-making and strategic development within the state of Oregon. Assistin creating and updating spreadsheets, databases, and tracking systems to ensure efficient workflows.

  • AI Capability Development (ongoing):Lead ongoing creation and improvement of AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., automation, drafting/summarization support, data QA workflows, knowledge management, reporting acceleration) to support the team’s ongoing productivity goals, including identifying high-value use cases, documenting requirements, supporting rollout and training, and iterating based on user feedback.
  • Engage with IT and PMO technical resources: Ensure the needs of Oregon state are accurately reflected within the ongoing development of the SP Portal so that we can continue to grow our data tracking capabilities and use of automations to speed up the overall process for our contracted partners.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively and act as the technical liaisonwith theproducer services and Data and Analytic teams, management,ITand other interest holders. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree ina relevant field:Business administration,dataand analytics, etc.
  • 2+years experiencewithCRM software (Salesforce preferred): Ability to manage andutilizeCRM systems effectively. 
  • AI-enabled workflow and automation experience:Comfort using AI tools to improve operational efficiency and the ability to translate business needs into practical, documented AI-enabled workflows (including change management and continuous improvement).
  • Experience with tools and technologies: Familiarity with automation tools, reporting tools, and other relevant technologies. (Salesforce, Workday, Jira experience preferred)
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft 365:Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Compensation & Other Information

  • Location:Remote in the state of Oregon with occasional in person meetings.
  • Pay Rate: Based on a variety of factorsin accordance withapplicable law including the successfulcandidate’srelevant experience, skills,knowledge,and experience.
  • Reports To:Program Operations Manager, OR
