Job description

Your mission

The Accountant ensures accurate and efficient financial operations within UOS by managing daily accounting activities, including transaction processing, record-keeping, and financial analysis.


Working independently, the Accountant handles bookkeeping, invoice and bank transaction processing, payment monitoring, and coordination with internal teams for invoice validation, as well as supporting monthly closings, reporting, and tax-related tasks.


Responsibilities

  • Independently manage day-to-day accounting operations
  • Process and post incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain bank postings
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing payments and manages cashbox
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and closing activities
  • Support the preparation of tax summaries and other reports
  • Ensure accurate allocation of accounting entries
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and the Finance Manager

Your profile

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in Accounting or a related field (e.g., office administrator, accountant, industrial clerk, or similar)
  • 3–5 years of experience in a comparable role is desirable
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in common MS Office applications
  • Team player with an independent and structured working style
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
