  • Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency.

Requirements:

  • Lead, inspire and develop a service-oriented Dyson Expert team to deliver outstanding owner experiences through demonstrations and world-class service.
  • Oversee store operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, scheduling, compliance, health and safety, and cost control.
  • Achieve individual and store KPIs (sales, customer service, profitability) while launching new products/services and building product knowledge.
  • Execute day-to-day store tasks such as embossing, gift wrapping, and cleaning and tidying communal areas, ensuring a safe and well-presented store.

We have opened a unique Dyson Demo Zone in Chadstone Shopping Centre which will increase awareness of Dyson technology and educate shoppers through expert advice, product demonstrations and styling bars.  

This is a fixed term contract until the end of April 2027 and will cover the Shopping Centres’ trading hours.  

About the Role

This role will be leading a team in a completely unique experience. As the Store Manager,  you will build, train and lead a team of service-oriented, passionate and ambitious Dyson Experts to deliver outstanding owner experiences – fascinating customers through presentation and demonstration of our machines while also delivering world-class service and support for our current owners. 

Behind the scenes, the Store Manager will oversee operations including inventory and visual merchandising. 

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-

  • Lead, inspire and challenge a team to deliver an optimal owner experience – focusing on strengthening experience, education and cultivating a community of Dyson owners 

  • Lead by example and support your team to deliver an environment that heroes our machines, delivering best in class demonstrations and experiences 

  • Deliver a sustainable retail platform that is efficient, ever evolving and that exceeds our customer’s expectations, whilst balancing this with a safe, compliant and cost controlled culture 

  • Taking personal responsibility for achieving individual and store-based KPIs, including daily, weekly and monthly sales, customer service and store profitability targets 

  • Launch new products and services 

  • Continuously build product knowledge and keep updated of any product developments, while supporting the store team to do the same 

  • Embossing 

  • Gift Wrapping 

  • Complete any tasks that are related to the running and operation of the Store, including cleaning and tidying of communal areas  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will understand in-store operations, managing work schedules, stock management, compliance, health and safety, security and all day-to-day requirements of running a store. You will have a track record for creating innovative solutions that solve problems and/or challenge convention. You work in a collaborative style with a passion to deliver a 5 star customer experience while driving commercial results 

Previous skills & experience:-

  • Proven experience of leading, motivating and developing a team in a premium retail environment 

  • Proven experience of store leadership 

  • Proven experience in running the day-to-day operations of a store 

  • Proven ability communicating with, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders 

  • Advanced MS Office Suite
