The RSR is accountable for executing key accounts, delivering top line sales revenue for the brands they represent. He/she maximizes the availability of our products in the appropriate customers consistent with our brand strategy with an emphasis on superior new product execution. The selected candidate executes consumer and shopper driven strategies for their customers that enable Newell Brands to achieve best in class results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct account management responsibility for assigned accounts.
  • Prepare and execute annual budgets for the accounts.
  • Day to day management of the promotional calendar: evaluation and course correction, leading the process for managing trade spends and pricing in conjunction with the management of the promotional calendar.
  • Work with demand planning to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy.
  • Build customer relationships at the Assistant Buyer/Buyer level and facilitate connectivity in other functional areas including Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, doing the same across internal Newell functions to enhance information sharing and decision making.
  • Ensure proper reporting of sales activity performed.
  • Develop relationships with listed accounts and potential customers.
  • Occasional visits to supermarkets/hypermarkets in the area.
  • Create a positive and successful team environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of sales experience in similar positions/industry
  • High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player 
  • Drive for results
  • Good influencing and persuasive ability
  • Understanding of negotiation techniques
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results.
  • Ability to thrive in a frequently changing environment, managing high levels of pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex data in an organized manner
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments
  • 70% travel within the asigned area
  • Full Spanish Driver’s License
  • Languages: Spanish & English (good written and spoken)
