Description

Excellent opportunity to grow with a Denver-based, leading Well Site Geological Service Company. Geosteering is key and essential to all wells drilled by our customers. As a Geosteering Analyst, you will play a vital role in the interpretation of the E&P drilling process. You will be part of our high-performance operations team that works closely with our customers to achieve the goals of the well prior to and while drilling.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Prior experience Geosteering is required.
  • B.S. or M.S. Geology or related field.
  • Prior knowledge of Star Steer software required.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • A professional history of impeccable client communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure during a high workload environment.
  • Aptitude to work in a team environment while accepting the accountability of your individual work conduct.
  • Capacity to perform multiple wellbore target changes on different projects in a timely manner while keeping your work accurate and on time.
  • Provide exceptional technical advice to our clients on current and future projects.

Work Environment:

  • 12-hour shifts.
  • Varying workload changes over a day or week shift.
  • Team environment.
  • The position will be high stress during higher workload and short deadline periods.

Technical:

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with an emphasis in Excel.
  • Complete understanding of well site drilling operations.
  • Experience and knowledge in multiple basins.

Professional:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
  • Open to mentoring and constructive criticism by peers.
  • Ability to multi-task.
