Job Description

Summary

North America FP&A is looking for a Labor Financial Analyst II to support labor planning, reporting and analysis activities across the region. You will partner with Finance teams and partners to support recurring planning cycles, reporting requirements, and analysis related to labor costs and headcount. You will support reporting accuracy, researching variances, improving process efficiency, and helping standardize labor-related planning and reporting activities across North America. You will report to the Labor Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support monthly and annual planning processes using Hyperion, Oracle, and related financial applications.
  • Prepare recurring management reports and support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests related to labor costs, headcount, and workforce-related metrics.
  • Analyze labor cost and headcount movements, identifying and researching variances across systems, budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Analyze operating results and summarize key drivers, risks, and changes for Finance and partners.
  • Support the maintenance, standardization, and enhancement of reporting models, files, and planning tools.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation projects that increase reporting efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Help improve reporting accuracy and consistency while maintaining service level agreements and performance metrics.
  • Partner with Finance teams across North America to provide accurate and useful information for planning and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in Finance
  • Advanced English level
  • Excel skill required; Experience of financial systems and tools including OBIEE, Hyperion Planning/Essbase and SmartView as an ideal
  • Skills with a focus on customer service and responsiveness, experience supporting other finance professionals
  • Experience working in system details and summarize and explain large amounts of information including variances to budget and forecast
