Overview:

We are in the business of homeownership and are seeking an Online Search Coordinator to grow their career with us. This non-exempt position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working with real estate records and title searches. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting online title searches across designated states and counties, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client and company standards.

What You Will Do

Title Search & Review

  • Perform online title searches using multiple databases and resources in accordance with order guidelines
  • Search, analyze, and verify real estate titles and public records
  • Review abstractor searches for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify and reject incomplete or inaccurate searches
  • Examine deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, easements, plats, and maps to determine ownership and encumbrances
  • Analyze the chain of title and prepare reports outlining title-related matters
  • Ensure no title restrictions exist that could prevent or hinder sale or use of a property

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Accurately input searched information into required systems and reports
  • Build title requirements and exceptions
  • Enter callback sheet information into eConnect
  • Prepare, print, and deliver reports according to client guidelines
  • Prepare property reports, title commitments, and search packages for upload
  • Perform Patriot, PACER, and Child Support searches as needed
  • Monitor and report search status using dashboards and notification tools

Research & Evaluation

  • Examine lot books, geographic indices, general indices, and assessor rolls
  • Compile and summarize legal and insurance documents
  • Research public and private records for law firms, real estate agencies, and title insurance companies
  • Compile lists of mortgages, contracts, and other title-related instruments
  • Prepare complete title search documentation in compliance with internal and client standards

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support Title Operations as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the title
  • Working knowledge of real estate titles, deed preparation, and closings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, personal computers, and standard office equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Capability to manage shifting priorities, meet deadlines, and handle stressful situations
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision

For California, Colorado, and New York applicants, the pay range is $19 - $22/ Hourly
