Description

The Claims UAT Analyst is responsible for leading user acceptance testing activities across multiple claims systems to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and quality of system changes prior to deployment. This role translates business needs from the Claims organization into clear system requirements, evaluates proposed enhancements, and provides actionable recommendations that improve process efficiency and user experience. The analyst collaborates closely with IT, business stakeholders, and compliance partners to support the successful implementation of system updates while ensuring adherence to regulatory, operational, and organizational standards.


This position will test on all lines of business - workers' compensation, commercial auto, commercial property, and commercial general & professional liability. 



Job Responsibilities


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on all new features, bug fixes, and enhancements for the claims system. 
  • Document and communicate test results, defects, and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Parter with Claims Systems Team to write clear specific actions for system changes
  • Collaborate with claims leadership to Identify process gaps. Assist in data validation and integrity checks for regulatory reporting and compliance. 
  • Participate in workflow evaluations to ensure service level objectives are met. 
  • Support Claims Compliance by ensuring that all compliance-related changes are implemented effectively and accurately across all platforms.
  • Provide feedback to management and IT on system performance. 
  • Support training initiatives as needed. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects of the claims system. 
  • Promote strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business goals. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing start-up environment, including changes to technology, compliance, and regulation considerations. 
  • Occasional travel required.

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite 
  • SQL Experience is a plus
  • Azure Devops experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with claims systems and insurance workflows required

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required  
  • Minimum 2 years of Property & Casualty Insurance Claims handling experience
  • Experience with UAT testing and system enhancement recommendations a plus?
  • Prior business analysis experience is a plus

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
