Job description

 

Position Overview

 

 

The PMM is responsible for creating and maintaining the external position of dormakaba products in the marketplace and is the owner of the respective portfolio. They are also responsible for the sales and profit performance as well as all related marketing processes; these can range from material master data, ensuring appropriate standards and approvals are met as well as product life cycle and product commercial training

 

What you will do

 

 

  • Manage product life cycle on local markets (launch, growth, phase-out) working in close collaboration with the sales teams (e.g. business plans, market information).
  • Regarding the product portfolio, the PMM will be responsible for: material master data content, technical content in all documentation and service innovations
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of competition and customer needs and translate this into sales opportunities by suggesting product modification and new products
  • Produce and maintain market intelligence on competitors for the respective product portfolio.
  • Develop market launch plans in close cooperation with the Marketing and Sales Managers.
  • Support the Product / Solutions / Service sales teams with competitor bench marking and sales arguments in their daily work
  • Sales training on the dormakaba products and support on competitor products.

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience 
  • Experience in the industry and strong technical knowledge of complex products
  • Project management skills
  • Marketing toolbox experience
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Degree in Marketing / Engineering
