About the Role

As Director of Procurement, you will lead and mature GTT’s global procurement function across software, internal infrastructure and customer‑premise equipment (CPE). Reporting to the VP of Finance, Procurement, you will shape procurement strategy, drive cost efficiency and strengthen supplier performance in a fast‑moving, performance‑driven environment.

This is a highly visible leadership role where your decisions directly support scalable operations, service reliability and margin improvement. You’ll also play a key role in GTT’s AI transformation, partnering with Technology and Operations to source and govern AI‑enabled tools that improve internal efficiency and customer solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage strategic supplier relationships across network, security, cloud, software, AI platforms and CPE

  • Lead complex negotiations, renewals and sourcing initiatives to deliver sustainable cost savings and risk mitigation

  • Establish vendor performance management through KPIs, scorecards and executive business reviews

  • Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and supplier rationalisation

  • Design and continuously improve procurement policies, governance and controls across regions

  • Partner closely with Legal, Technology, Security, Operations and Finance to ensure commercial, technical and compliance alignment

  • Embed procurement discipline into AI adoption to prevent tool sprawl and uncontrolled spend

  • Build, lead and develop a high‑performing global procurement team

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • 10+ years’ experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, including senior leadership roles

  • Strong background procuring software, technology, telecom/network equipment or IT infrastructure

  • Proven success in cost reduction, vendor negotiation and contract management

  • Experience building or transforming procurement processes and governance

  • Excellent commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

  • International, multi‑region procurement experience

  • Private equity or highly cost‑focused environments

  • Professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM or equivalent)
