Position Overview
The Senior Change Management & Communications Lead provides client-facing leadership for organizational change management and change communications workstreams supporting enterprise transformation initiatives. It is important that this role is proficient in being a communications lead and has been trained in OCM. This role is responsible for designing and executing integrated change and communication strategies that build organizational readiness, align leadership, and enable adoption of new technologies, processes, and roles across impacted stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities
Lead the assessment, design, and execution of organizational change management and change communications strategies
Oversee OCM workstreams including communications, leadership alignment, business readiness, change adoption, and learning
Responsibilities to collect and share change impacts, establish change networks, and measure OCM plan effectiveness.
Develop and maintain comprehensive communication strategies and plans aligned to program roadmaps
Create targeted messaging and materials tailored to defined stakeholder groups and levels of the organization
Identify executive alignment risks and anticipated resistance points and develop mitigation strategies
Collaborate closely with business leaders, IT teams, training leads, and corporate communications representatives
Advise on optimal communication channels, messengers, cadence, and delivery methods
Support leaders and managers in delivering effective communications and responding to employee feedback
Proficiency with executive storytelling, narrative structure, data visualization for C-suite audiences, Prosci methodology fluency and quantitative readiness assessment
Track and report organizational readiness, communication effectiveness, and overall change health
Lead and mentor change and communication resources across project teams
Translate deliverables into reusable tools, templates, and intellectual property
Support project closeout activities including client satisfaction feedback, lessons learned, and case studies
Required Skillsets
This is a remote position based in the United States
7+ years of experience leading organizational change management and/or change communications for large-scale transformations
Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies for enterprise technology and process transformations
Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and executive communication skills
Proven ability to create clear, compelling, and creative communications
Experience working in fast-paced, consulting or professional services environments
Strong program and project management capabilities supporting complex initiatives
Experience partnering with training teams, business stakeholders, and IT.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to work remotely with limited travel based on client needs
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field, or equivalent experience
