Job Description Summary:

As an Account Based Marketing Strategist (ABM Strategist) on the AMER Account Based Marketing team, this individual is the Marketing lead for their aligned Regional Sales Team(s). The ABM Strategist is responsible for sales engagement and for creating a targeted, account-based marketing plan to build pipeline against Marketing and Sales targets and to accelerate deals to close.



This role is both strategic and tactical – from territory and account planning to operationalizing multi-touch field and ABM programs, to customer and account engagement, follow-up, and optimization. In addition to executing field marketing activities, this role serves as a leader in Rocket’s account-based marketing strategy, leveraging intent data, and AI-powered insights to support Sales at the top and middle of the funnel.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Leaders and teams through 1:1s, QBRs, and planning sessions to align regional, account-based, and deal-based marketing initiatives with sales goals. 

  • Develop and execute a targeted, account-centric marketing plan that enhances pipeline coverage, strengthens customer relationships, supports net-new acquisition, and accelerates deal progression. 

  • Serve as a strategic ABM partner to Sales, helping AE’s prioritize accounts and opportunities using intent data, engagement signals, and AI-driven insights to inform outreach and programs at the top and mid-funnel. 

  • Lead go-to-market strategies and coorindate integrated marketing tactics to support regional sales, including Account-Based Marketing, field programs, and customer engagement experiences.  

  • Plan, execute, and operationalize multi-touch account and territory engagement programs, spanning digital, field, executive, and partner-led motions. 

  • Work with cross-functional teams (solution marketing, creative, marketing operations, etc.) to align on strategy, ensure consistent messaging, and deliver a cohesive brand experience.  

  • Integrate Rocket’s partner ecosystem into regional field and ABM strategies, collaborating on joint account plans, campaigns, and events. 

  • Measure, analyze, and report on the success of field and ABM programs, including pipeline impact, engagement, and ROI; provide data-driven insights to continuously refine strategy and execution. 

  • Drive operational excellence by improving processes, tools, and execution frameworks that scale account-based and field marketing impact.  

 

Qualifications:  

  • At least 5+ years in field marketing, account-based marketing, or B2B regional marketing; prior sales experience is helpful 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent  

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, practices, processes, tactics, and tools, including ABM and data-driven marketing approaches 

  • Ability to understand, anticipate, and support Sales priorities and motions 

  • Ability to manage vendors, budget and ROI   

  • Drive for Operational Excellence and Superior Customer Experience   

  • Must be willing to travel approximately 25%

Annual salary range for this position is between $97,500.00 - $131,625.00 gross before taxes.
