Roles & Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience in mainframe environments (COBOL, CICS, DB2)
  • Proven track record in adopting new technologies, from MVC2 to cloud environments
  • Experience with Web Services (WS) and APIs, and strong SQL Server skills
  • Strong data modeling capabilities and leadership/coordination of technical teams; strategic mindset

Requirements:

  • Lead and coordinate technical teams across Mainframe (COBOL/CICS/DB2) and cloud projects to ensure on-time delivery
  • Define and manage data models and architecture; ensure alignment between mainframe and cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions; manage project plans, risks, and deliverables
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices; provide mentoring and strategic guidance

Requisitos Técnicos

  • Experiencia Core: Trayectoria dilatada en entornos Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2).

  • Transición Tecnológica: Experiencia real en la adopción de nuevas tecnologías:

    • Desde MVC2 hasta entornos Cloud.

    • Experiencia con Web Services (WS) y APIs.

    • Trabajo con SQL Server.

  • Modelado: Acostumbrado/a a trabajar y definir modelos de datos complejos.

Gestión y Soft Skills

  • Liderazgo: Experiencia en gestión y coordinación de equipos técnicos.

  • Visión Estratégica: Capacidad para entender la coexistencia entre el Mainframe y la nube.

  • Idiomas: Valorable Inglés conversacional (nivel para trato diario, no necesariamente negociación técnica).

Condiciones

  • Ubicación: Madrid o Barcelona
