About the Role

The State Manager is responsible for driving growth at Brighte by identifying, onboarding, and managing Vendor relationships. This role plays a key part in expanding Brighte’s market presence, increasing product adoption, and delivering value to partners and customers.

In this role, you will be required to travel within WA regularly and interstate to SA when required.

 

 

What You'll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal teams - Marketing, Operations and Product - to ensure successful execution management, growth and retention of vendors
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems
  • Report on sales performance, forecasts, and growth opportunities to Head of Sales
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions

 

 

What You'll Bring

  • You have proven experience in business development, sales, and account management with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • You have solid experience developing and managing client relationships
  • Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and negotiation techniques
  • You bring strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in combination with excellent negotiation and influencing abilities
  • You are self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • You have solid commercial awareness and financial acumen and are able to identify opportunities and turn them into winning partnership
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling business
  • Experience within Sales, Finance, Solar, electrical is highly advantageous
