WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a senior, hands-on Salesforce Developer to lead agentic AI implementations in a regulated federal environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in zero‑to‑one builds, enjoys solving ambiguous technical problems, and is comfortable operating directly on client infrastructure. You bring strong engineering fundamentals, practical AI judgment, and the confidence to ship secure, production‑ready solutions-not experiments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Reporting to our Delivery Operations Manager, as a Full-Time Specialist on our team, you will design, build, and refine autonomous AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce, with a strong emphasis on reliability, grounding, and security. Working directly on IRS environments, you will lead rapid prototyping efforts, validate AI feasibility in real systems, and troubleshoot complex multi‑platform failures. Your work will directly influence both client outcomes and future Salesforce platform enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) or Public Trust clearance (required).
- Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, Platform Developer I, and Platform Developer II Certifications are required.
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification is preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience, with senior‑level ownership of production systems.
- Hands-on experience delivering at least one end‑to‑end Agentforce or AI-based Salesforce implementation.
- Expert‑level development skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript, with strong software design discipline.
- Working knowledge of federal security standards, including Section 508 compliance and sensitive data handling (e.g., FTI).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and build autonomous AI agents in Agentforce, including prompt engineering, custom topics, and grounding strategies to ensure accurate and secure outputs.
- Architect and implement scalable data models and data pipelines within Salesforce Data Cloud to support AI-driven workflows.
- Lead rapid, zero‑to‑one prototyping efforts, delivering POCs directly on IRS infrastructure to validate technical approaches.
- Perform deep technical debugging across systems, resolving agent hallucinations, grounding failures, and orchestration issues.
- Apply AI/ML orchestration best practices, including prompt safety constraints and guardrail design, in a regulated environment.
- Capture platform limitations and field insights, feeding actionable recommendations back into Salesforce product evolution for federal use cases.
